OPALLIOS

Kaleidoscope of Heaven

Derived from the Greek word “opallios” meaning “precious stone”, the opal is a “play of colors”, incomparable to any other jewel in terms of pigmentation. The curvature of the gemstone gleams in the light like the Aurora Borealis, shining its various hues into the eyes of its enamored observers. Creating the illusion of the stone swirling and changing form, it truly embodies the mystical spectacles of nature. The brightness of opal, which is a collection of natural sediments, depends on how orderly the ball-shaped silicic acids within the opal are arranged. The size of the silicic acid within each opal creates variance in their colors, shapes, and vibrance. Even similar types of opal can be valued at different prices as a result of the desirability of their “play of colors”. Finding an opal with the desired pattern, colors, and brightness is incredibly difficult. The OPALLIOS Collection of SUREE consists of opal rings that display the pinnacle of what the color spectrum has to offer and will be a treasured piece for those who never settle for anything less than the absolute best.

The Search

Engaged in a fierce waiting game, the team at SUREE spent two years searching for the right opals, as perfect as nature would allow them to be. In addition, magnificent jewels that would accompany and accentuate the opal were also accumulated throughout this period. As persistence is SUREE’s philosophy, the patience to search for these gems were just as vital to the process as the gems themselves.

The Setting

The SUREE team does not take shortcuts. They will endure the most arduous of processes to ensure a piece that is as marvelous and secure as possible. As such, only the highest quality materials and crafting methods were utilized, such as the attaching the platinum prongs of the ring to give the most security to the best jewelry. These qualities will elevate SUREE as a brand.

The Design

The concept of “invisible beauty” was a crucial component to this collection. The team at SUREE carefully thought about how to craft their prized creation in a way that it would be beautiful from all angles, even the backhaul. This dedication resulted in rings that give a particular satisfaction to its wearer who will appreciate the beauty in the finer, overlooked details in the backhaul as well as the eye-catching aspects of the ring that are visible.
